Elecor Properties Unveils The Aurelian, New Identity for Its Midtown Private Membership Club

NEW YORK, September 15, 2026 – Elecor Properties today unveiled The Aurelian, the new identity for its flagship 32,000-square-foot private membership club at 1301 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan. Formerly known as The Paramount Club, The Aurelian builds on the club's established hospitality, programming and member experience while reflecting Elecor's broader vision for the modern workplace.
The Aurelian officially debuted on September 10 with a launch celebration attended by nearly 600 members. The event showcased the club's capabilities for private events for corporate clients. Spaces throughout The Aurelian were activated with live music and entertainment, curated food and beverage experiences and wellness programming, giving tenants a firsthand look at how the destination can be tailored for their own gatherings and events.
The new identity marks the club's evolution alongside the broader transition from Paramount Group to Elecor Properties. Derived from aureus, meaning "golden," The Aurelian reflects the elevated hospitality and member experience the club has established since opening in 2024. While the name creates a distinct identity under Elecor, its foundation remains unchanged: bringing together hospitality, wellness, dining and programming in one dedicated member experience.
"The Aurelian reflects how we think about amenities in the modern workplace. More than a beautiful space, tenants value experiences that bring people together, strengthen workplace culture and give employees more from every day at work," said Peter Brindley, Executive Vice President, Head of Real Estate at Elecor Properties. "Over the past two years, The Paramount Club has built an incredibly engaged community. The Aurelian gives us an opportunity to build on that success with an identity that reflects where Elecor is headed."
Since opening in May 2024, the club has recorded nearly 200,000 member visits and hosted 310 programming events attended by nearly 17,000 people. Membership at The Aurelian is open to tenants across Elecor Properties' Manhattan portfolio.
The Aurelian includes the Atrium, game room, auditorium, dining spaces and wellness facilities, providing a range of environments for collaboration, connection, recreation and entertainment. Programming is central to the experience, with a curated calendar spanning food and beverage, wellness, arts and culture, networking and community events.
Experiences range from rooftop-to-table cooking classes with Executive Chef Mark Gandara using garden-fresh produce, to sold-out Mahjong lessons and waitlisted SotoMethod workouts. The building also hosts Cocktails & Connections networking, major sports watch parties in the Atrium, and community initiatives like two blood drives that yielded 147 donations in 2026.
The Aurelian will continue to evolve through direct member feedback. An annual survey informs programming, dining, wellness and the overall member experience, and The Aurelian plans to launch a Member Advisory Board in the coming months. The group of member ambassadors will provide an additional forum for tenants to share perspectives and help shape the club's future.
The announcement comes as Elecor continues to invest in differentiated workplace experiences across its New York and San Francisco portfolio. The company and its key joint venture partners previously announced approximately $250 million in planned capital improvements, including significant amenity and hospitality-focused upgrades at 1633 Broadway and 712 Fifth Avenue in New York and One Market Plaza and One Front Street in San Francisco.
